Link your Gmail account to drizzlemail

drizzlemail uses Gmail to read your Amazon emails. This guide explains how to connect your account and what permissions are required.

Why Connect Gmail?

Connecting Gmail allows drizzlemail to:

• Automatically detect Amazon order emails
• Track deadlines for invites and pickups
• Organize emails into visual flows
• Send notifications when action is needed

How to Connect

1. Click Connect Gmail on the onboarding page or in Settings
2. Sign in with your Google account
3. Review the permissions and click Allow
4. You'll be redirected back to drizzlemail

Permissions Explained

drizzlemail requests read-only access to your Gmail. We can:

• Read email messages
• Search for specific emails

We cannot:

• Send emails on your behalf
• Delete emails
• Access other Google services

Privacy & Security

• Your emails are processed securely and never shared
• Only Amazon-related emails are analyzed
• You can disconnect at any time from Settings

Troubleshooting

Connection Failed

If the connection fails:

1. Make sure you're signed into the correct Google account
2. Try clearing your browser cache
3. Disable ad blockers temporarily
4. Try a different browser

Emails Not Syncing

If emails aren't appearing:

1. Check that your Gmail account receives Amazon emails
2. Wait a few minutes for the initial sync to complete
3. Click the sync button on the dashboard to trigger a manual sync
