Discord Webhooks
Get notifications in your Discord server
Send drizzlemail notifications to Discord when items need attention. Perfect for keeping track of deadlines without constantly checking the dashboard.
Setting up a Discord webhook
Step 1: Create a webhook in Discord
- Open your Discord server
- Go to Server Settings → Integrations → Webhooks
- Click New Webhook
- Give it a name (e.g., "drizzlemail")
- Choose the channel for notifications
- Click Copy Webhook URL
Step 2: Add the webhook to drizzlemail
- Go to Settings in drizzlemail
- Find the Discord section
- Paste your webhook URL
- Click Save
What notifications are sent?
drizzlemail can notify you about:
| Event | Description |
|---|---|
| Item ready | An item is available for pickup at the locker |
| Deadline approaching | Less than 24 hours to order or collect |
| Order confirmed | An order has been placed successfully |
Tip
Notifications include the product name, recipient, and deadline so you have all the context you need.
Notification format
Discord messages include:
- Product name and image
- Current phase (Ready, Ordered, etc.)
- Deadline countdown
- Link to view details in drizzlemail
Managing webhooks
Testing your webhook
After adding a webhook, click Test to send a sample notification. This confirms the connection is working.
Removing a webhook
To stop notifications:
- Go to Settings
- Find the webhook
- Click Remove
Warning
Deleting the webhook in Discord will also stop notifications. Remove it from drizzlemail first to keep your settings clean.
